GOOGLE your stuff .. you top Spoof writers are indeed all over the web guaranteed
I've done this for years now it seems, Googling my own stuff seeing where I am on the www without my knowledge.
Google tracks everything. Start high level,
Google your spoof SCREEN name first (in quotes).
No results?
Then next, Google the TITLE of one of your stories. Drill down in the result set. If your screen name is a common one add "thespoof" (with quotes) to the query initially. As proof go google this exact string
"Flash Nitrate" Spoof
see what comes up. Flash didn't have my best stories but he was fun however odds are some site on the web has "acquired" your story. Most sites DO give credit, point back to the spoof. Every few months I do this. Today I Googled jd balderdash. One good link from that googling was this UFO site which made my UFO story their own without linking directly back to Balderdash AT the Spoof. It's
just a simple UFO site back to 2005 at the Spoof where me as balderdash wrote a story about Bush and UFO's in '05

You top writers? Your stuff is spread all over the wwww as illustrated above. You just have to find your stuff that's been stolen or borrowed on the www.
In a way you writers are getting additional HIT points and possibly planetary recognition you never even knew about .. Folks from other sites following a link on THEIR site, arriving at your story. Not all clicks originate from someone at the Spoof clicking a link. Many occur when some website/discussionGroup with a link to your story posts a direct link to your Spoof story (chuh CHING!)

One of my stories is on a White Supremacy site. Another is on a nudist colony site. Still another few appear as legitimate news stories (one on a Canadian site, another on an Asian site). One is on a Warner Bros. site while another appears on a Major League baseball site. I'm even on a Wiccan site!
None of these sites asked my permission, but all acknowledge my authorship and that the story came from the Spoof.

One of mine ended up on a Pentagon intelligence site..Some idiot musta thought it was real. It stayed up for about a weeek and went away. It was a anti-terrorist story and who knows, it was probably gleaned because I said Bin Laden.
