ALIAS SPOOF ON NFL'S MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

I am a huge football fan and watch Monday night football , but I do not remember the particular segway described by Wikipedia below .....

First of all , I admit Wikipedia is the LAST place one should go for completely reliable information . After all , any drunk at a bar can edit the thing ! I still thought however, I would mention finding this. My question is, does anybody remember seeing this opening spoof and if so, does Sid steal a cheerleader uniform , or does she simply show up with one ?

If she does in fact, steal it, it would be much appreciated if someone could find a clip of it.

Here's the outtake from Wikipedia :

" The first was produced in 2002 for a segment of ABC's Monday Night Football in which Sydney (played as always by Jennifer Garner) is ordered by Sloane (Ron Rifkin) to infiltrate the locker room of the Washington Redskins NFL team in order to steal the coach's playbook. Syd disguises herself as a cheerleader and distracts the "Hogettes," a group of Redskins fans, with a jug of beer before stealing the book. Upon returning to SD-6 headquarters, she is horrified to find Sloane wearing a pig mask and oinking. This skit was advertised as being included in the season 2 DVD box set, but it was dropped from the set at the last minute without explanation. Another specially filmed MNF segment featuring Garner was included in the season 3 DVD set, but this was not, strictly speaking, a spoof. "

( This question is posted in clips and scene database purposely )

* ON SOMEWHAT OF A SEPERATE NOTE , TO SLAIN :

I understand that you are making alot of constructive changes in our format . However, I would like to suggest to you that it may be a good idea to maintain the general uniform stealing section that you recently eliminated . The Alias question I just posted is a perfect example as a need for it. I didn't know whether to post it in scene database or clips .

Re: ALIAS SPOOF ON NFL'S MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

I remember seeing a Campbells Chucky Soap commercial that was suggestive of uniform stealing of a NFL cheerleader, but no actual uniform stealing was shown in the commercial.

I would bet this Alias spoof has Jennifer Gardner just showing up in a cheerleader's uniform. The producer of this show found out earily on fans of the show flat out did not like Sydney beating up/abusing other female characters. I have a feeling the uniform stealing scene in the next to last episode of Alias was a big f--- you to the fans.

The only acceptable thing open to posting here is fiction stories/story excerpts, artwork, and mainstream media vidcaps-video clips dealing with TV shows, movies, music videos, comic books--and now that you brought it up--TV commercials. If someone has a question about something, and it falls within acceptable perameters, post it the approprete forum (pictures, clips, stories, artwork). I've found past discussion about X-rated fetish productions, porno movies, fantasies about actual people, and other off weird stuff fairly disturbing & I want no part of it.

I'm not really alone in thinking this way either; Wavy at the Chloroforum has a strict policy against posting clips taken from fetish movies, or video of people in the real world falling unconscious. He does have a forum for discussing commercial fetish productions, but I thing he gets something in return for doing this--something I'm not getting.

There are a midrid of sites about rape, snuff, cat fighting, and fetish company websites, so people should go else where if they want to discuss things of this nature.

emoticon Please Manfromunconscious, could you tell where in Wikipedia is reported this scene? I googled " ALIAS + cheerleader" and result is nothing. I could agree with Slain's idea (Jennifer Gardner appears already dressed as cheerleader), except Jennifer Gardner plays a spy role, she has to walk in public unnoticed, what is impossible to a girl dressed as a cheerleader.About your note, I agree that as community ( a big community ), we need a general message box .Sure I'm guilty, so many posts should have been submitted in "Scene database", but real question is not that one .Real question, is that today all has been wiped out, near two years of our history, and yesterday has been a very bitter day. Before to join this wonderful group I was used (from months) to read and again to read every single post in General Discussion Forum, wondering how many smart and brillant , talented people were here, and today all is erased ,we have no Past Time .Man, it hurts.I understand problems and I'm alarmed (very alarmed, since weeks!) for the danger , so Slain does a right thing, except it hurts. Regards.

Hi Esercito,

Just simply punch in " Alias " in the exact phrase section of Google Advanced search. The Alias Wikipedia is one of the first things on top.

If for some reason that doesn't work, you could do what I did to discover it in the first place: Punch in exact phrase,
" disguises herself as a cheerleader. "
- It will probably be the only lone result.

PS : I understand Slain's cited concerns, but I echo your sentiments Esercito.
If it is still salvagable , I would love to see our general archive discussions back, minus anything that is objectionable - We have too much wonderful history, and too many insightful discussions that we have engaged in over the past two years in our general uniform stealing section just to see it all disintegrate ! - Not to mention all the hard work everyone did in all their investigative efforts , writings, and posting.

Ultimately of course, it is not my decision, but there's an old saying , " You shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water " , and I think it applies here.

emoticon Manfromunconscious, soon after my reply,I found right article on Wikipedia's Alias and now true question, is to understand if this reported spoof has been actually filmed- in that case, it 'll come to us, via Youtube.Maybe it is already there, simply we are seeking by wrong keywords.I repeat my opinion, this one must be a complete uniform stealing . On the ground of what Slain says in his reply about producer's feelings , even waitress' episode in Sydney should have been inhibited.

About your P.S., as I said this is a so bitter argument ... I would like to support your desire ( to see back this fantastic discussion archive ), but I'm afraid that all these female uniforms are gone with the wind.It was a so beautiful thing , in the whole world nothing can be compared to these discussions.I remember everything, comprehending each post of yours, from Terminator to Hefner.Call me idiot , but to read every single word has given to me a true sense of happiness. Now, even Christmas good wishes have been erased. And New Year wishes too.Sure, they are unnecessary. It must be clear that I'm not ,I'm not, I'm not resented, because there was a danger, (still present! at least Slain is aware of that... ) , and I admire Slain as board founder, as artist and as creator of a completely different way to see popular media and modern life . Well, we still stand up, sadness is the only real damage .

           Regards.
