i almost forgot your birthday's around this time too,so happy birthday as well.
you should pm me sometime & tell me what kind of comics you've been reading these days.

Re: private message for Darth Chloro...
wrong day, what a shame. ideed I remembered your birthday is in the same week of the mine , so I did the mistake. Actually today I am older. Thanks for happy birthday-
in these days I am reading "secret invasion", I know it's a huge cross over, but I mean only the "mini series " by Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu. It's not off topic here on USB , it's a feast for skrull shape shifters who replace a lot of super heroes and super heroines ( but not their costumes, costumes remain when alien shapeshifters lose their fake forms). Besides this, I am spending a lot of time admiring a series of covers drawn by Terry Dodson ( the best penciler of our age, apart Adam Hughes) of Xmen issues for "secret invasions"
hi

Re: private message for Darth Chloro...
my favorite artist these days are:
ed benes, david finch and billy tan.
benes and finch are incredible!
i've been a fan of john byrne, rob liefeld, jim lee and my absolute favaorite is marc silvestri (x-men).
i've read quite a few issues of "secret invasion",but there's so many issues to cover.

Re: private message for Darth Chloro...
...rob liefeld? seriously?
I agree for silvestri, for me his x-men (and x-women) are the final version, even if they are drawn twenty years ago.
john byrne....mmhh... well he was/is so intelligent, so creative...he is the symbol of comics in '80s. no ,anyway he is a great writer, and I like his drawings too
...but rob liefeld...
hi
I forgot ! Frank Cho! (anyway is style is not different from Tery Dodson's)

Re: private message for Darth Chloro...
well,i kind of got stuck on liefeld back in '89 when i was fifteen.
he did some stuff on the "x" titles that i thought was good and i never stopped liking him.
i agree with you about silvestri.
ever since his work on x-men,circa the late 80's,he's been my favorite.
there's a guy named jim cheung who did "young avengers" who's great too.

Re: private message for Darth Chloro...
Hey Darth there goes a birthday present... I set a webcam in the dressing room of Thundra, Valkyrie and She Hulk ; from Hulk # 7 "hell hath no fury..."part one, december 2008, they are redressing for the battle against red hulk...they are a little big for me, but if you like rob liefeld, then you'll like the bigger they are
P.S. other pencilers I love are Stuart Immonen, Yanick Paquette and Ben Oliver
P.P.S. I remember Valkyrie was not so big twenty years ago, but time goes on

Re: private message for Darth Chloro...
wow!
is valkyrie wearing pink panties under her costume?!
go figure,it's always the strong silent types.
you're right about valkyrie.
she was much smaller in those early days with the defenders.

the worst group of losers ever
