Re: Once a C-section, always a C-section?
My son was delivered by c-section because his heart rate dropped dangerousley low. My daughter I had a succesful VBAC(Vaginal Birth After Ceserian) It really all depends on the cut that was done on your uterus. If you had a horizontal bikini line cut then there is a less risk of uterus rupture then a cut done vertically. I really loved not having to go through another csection. Vaginal birth is ALOT less recovery time!

Re: Once a C-section, always a C-section?
After almost 12years I can still remember the pain from my csection. I can't imagine choosing to have another one!

Re: Once a C-section, always a C-section?
I too have had a c-section. I had a breech birth the first time then an emergancy c-section. Since then i have had 4 VBAC and would rather not have another section again as the recovery time is alot longer

Re: Once a C-section, always a C-section?
If you're Posh Spice yes.
I'd have hated to have had a c-section. 6 weeks not being able to bath your baby, or do anything yourself and always having to have someone on hand to help you.
I was out with the pram 5 days after she was born, just down to the shop and back and that was enough - I think that was more to do with the mouse hammocks I was wearing. Can never get used to those, it makes me walk funny.
