very basic recipe.... peel,core and cut apples, add little water and soften in microwave, place in a dish and cover with sugar.

flour, butter in a bowl, rub with fingers until fine bread crumbs then add sugar and place on top of apples.

Sprinkle with sugar and cook in oven.

Can't tell you amounts of stuff or heat of oven, but if your desperate I could have a look in my recipe books emoticon

I'm not desperate yet! Not sure if J is though!

How will I enjoy eating it though knowing I've putting all that sugar in there?!

I think brown sugar isn't so refined, don't know if it's better for you or not emoticon

Do you lot get Splenda out there? It's like sugar only not as high in calories? You can bake with it too....
