Okay, I will answer this one first then!
My French is pretty good, as is my spanish. I would love my german to be better, and am up for learning any other language members might be able to help me with!

Re: How many languages do you speak?
My SIL is German and as with most Germans I know, she is miserable.
Thinks cross stitch is a waste of time, but is demanding to know if I'm going to make a decoration for the tree for her new baby.
NO would be the answer as I'm still waiting for an acknowledgement from Christmas 2002 for the other one I did. I can guarantee that only when hell freezes over will I do anything hand made for any of them.
I can get by in Spanish and I can order chicken and chips in French, but that's about it. I've never got the grasp of masculine and feminine ways in languages.

Re: How many languages do you speak?
japanese is the first compulsory foreign language taught in schools in australia . I found this odd when I first came here cos in england it was always french and german.
I cant ever help the kids with thier homework though!
