Re: Dutch for beginners :)
Wow, great!!! We could do all the languages in parallel
Anyone knows any other language?
I think by now we can cover German, French, Dutch and some Swedish too, if I remember correctly, so this could be fun!
BTW, the pronunciation is always the tough part... I got used to writing the French one cos I myself started learning from the books, but for German I have no idea, will have to come up with sth...

Re: Dutch for beginners :)
Well... in my experience, actually, it is the best to just try and talk to someone. It really makes me work hard in the French section, honestly!!!

Re: Dutch for beginners :)
Vic,
I know... but unfortunately when it comes to learning it always takes some effort
From what I found one only really thinks about the language when one tries using it, this is the active part and this is where one remembers and learns. When one is reading lessons it largely just a passive process, it does help but it is not that efficient.
Then again, people differ...
If you have an idea where to find a teacher who would teach us how to teach...
If you have any suggestions how to improve the lessons, please suggest More people, more ideas!

Re: Dutch for beginners :)
The pronounce of Dutch and German are quite similar, but soooo difficult to explain.
