Not sure how this works - newbie
 I am new to the runboard and am don't really know how this works. Can anyone help me out? I have never used a message board before.
My name is Terri and I live in California. Have a couple grown kids and 2 grandkids. I work at a major hospital as an EVS supervisor. I love dogs and kids.

Okay, here goes, hopefully this makes sense!!
There arent any rules to follow here, and we are nice people so the best thing to do is relax and jump right in! Some people struggle with joining in on the conversations and give up because they dont know where to join in though, so here are a few tips.
Posting a reply to the daily thread is a good way to get people to notice you're around. We're really nice to newbies (honest!) and will look out for you and make sure you're happy.
Looking through older threads on the board is a good way to see what we've been chatting about and who we are. If you want to reply to an old thread, you are more than welcome to. It will bring the topic to the top of the page again and you'll no doubt get a couple of replies.
Dont worry about going off topic within threads - we dont mind that either and it happens all the time!
If you have a favourite recipe...a hobby you do often...you've just been away visiting somewhere nice or your home town is a nice place to visit...you have a good job you enjoy or one you hate...start a thread in the relevant section and tell us about it!! People will warm very quickly to you once they know something about you and can find something in common with you.
You can add pictures to both your avatar and your signature if you would like to. There are some website addresses in site suggestions of places that offer images you can use. If you dont know how to add them and want help with that, let me know and I can talk you through it :-)
