Hi! Thanks for the welcome! I'm close to Fort Hood (I could walk to one of the gates from my house!), but still basically in the boonies compared to Ft. Worth. Do you like Ft. Worth? I've only passed through when traveling to NY and the bus rides don't exactly offer a scenic tour of any cities.

Hi again -- sorry I couldn't reply sooner,my mother had a breathing episode and we are just now getting back to normal! To NY on a bus usually takes a little over two days. YUCK! It's not fun -- well, there are little incidences that make it less boring...buses break down, people get kicked off for getting naked...Belive me, the last thing you want to hear after being woke up at one in the morning by the stopping of the bus is the driver saying -- "Get your underwear on and get off my bus!"
