What is Mutant X?
Thats a good question.
In Season 1, their purpose was to help New Mutants and keep them safe, namely from the GSA.
In Season 2, it switched to helping New Mutants from a broader range of enemies, and getting rid of evil new mutants. They even did a little freelance work as bodyguards.
In Season 3, they did the Dominion's bidding, to the dismay of Brennan. There was so much change in the third season that Mutant X had a lot of problems and couldn't quite decide what they were doing from one season to another.
In a broader range, Mutant X is a TV show made by Tribune and Marvel Enterprises. It's about what would happen if there were genetically altered humans who gained an extra power. A team called Mutant X was formed by the genetic modifier himself, Adam Kane, to clean up the reprocussions of his mistake.
