Cheshire Car Show pics
Here are a few pictures from the weekend for your enjoyment. Not a huge turnout of Minis for a North West Mini Day, but some nice ones, like this Heinz Hornet:
Not so sure about this modernised Elf though. I think with different wheels it might be a lot better.
This is, for my money, the definitive 70s modded Mini:
Although this is the one that came 2nd in the concours for the deacade:
Beaten by this Sunbeam Imp:
Not much is cooler than a cool Mini, but this guy was getting close (at least, his car was):
Monday was American Car Day, but there were a few there on Sunday too. A lot of them don't do a lot for me, but I like these three.
Chevy Impala:
'56 Corvette:
Ford Mustang:
One or two nice domestic Fords on display:
The reason that Cortina is attracting a crowd is, of course, that it once belonged to Gene Hunt of the Manchester Police.
Did I mention there was a Life on Mars stand?
And here, of course, is Yoda taking part on the stand.
