What is your favourite wool?
I am into the Twilley's freedom spirit at the moment (Gill put me onto it...thanks Gill!) its 100% wool and the colour changes as you knit along. I thought it was a good price at £2.95 a ball and you seem to get a lot of mileage out of it.
I also love the Louisa Harding range of wools as they have some pretty colours.

Re: What is your favourite wool?
I keep eyeing that yarn when I go into the shop, but haven't a clue what to do with it!
I'm liking ANY aran weight yarn at the moment, it's so versatile! You can use it for anything!

Re: What is your favourite wool?
Twilley's Freedom Spirit is mine too! Also Opal self-patterning sock yarn (Lollypop at the moment). Have had a long phase of knitting chunky yarn (Rowan Big Wool, Paton's Denim Ultra, Colinette Point Five), but since becoming a born again sock knitter (try it you'll love it!) I have found finer wool more satisfying to work with. Plus it takes me longer, so slows me down a bit- good for the pennies.

I know what you mean about the pennies Gill! I think I should start to save money if I knit on 4ply!

I love the sock wools, Opal,Sockia,Regia, all self patterning. I have a basket full. I just wish I could knit it up a bit faster lol
